The aim is to do as many detailed drawings as possible, as often as possible, to fill up my sketchbook by the end of the year.
This weekend, I started an elevation study of Bath to illustrate the vast array of intricate and stunning architecture in the city. I started in the centre of town and will gradually work my way out. This will hopefully show how the cityscape changes in different areas.
Recording the process:
Setting out of grid lines (proportions still need a bit of work – but they’re getting better)
What I used:
Three black pens (0.1mm for setting out grid lines, 0.3mm for medium line weights and 0.5mm for thicker / darker shading)
