Visited this beautiful city last week and took theseĀ pics.

Early morning view over Belfast, Northern Ireland

Airport Terminal – Arrivals @ Belfast International Airport

First look at the Belfast streets

Don’t know what building this is, but thought it looked pretty awesome

Belfast Town Hall – Casually walked into this building thinking it was a museum. Only realised my mistake when I got to some pretty heavy duty security inside. Oops!

Victoria Square – Main City Centre Mall

City centre – pedestrian shopping quarter

Old and New – A city rebuilding from its past. Belfast has such a rich blend of architectural styles that sitting comfortably in juxtaposition with each other. Here’s one such example.

Dramatic cloud and river shot – no photo filter used

‘Big Fish’ – Public art installation

Riverside walk

Dock Panoramic

Dockside apartments

Titanic Quarter… Walked past a group of seasoned pro’s filming what must be part of a TV series. Hopefully I’ll appear as an extra? #touchmeimfamous lol

Dockside Apartments

S.S. Nomadic, Belfast Docks – sits in front of Titanic Museum building

Stunning Titanic Museum, Belfast

“A precipitous, four-storey sheer wall of artificially oxidised and randomly profiled steel panels dramatically recalling the fractured terrain of the exterior cladding” (building.co.uk)

Museum Panoramic

Interesting little passage close to docks

Nicknamed “Samson and Goliath Cranes”… They are huge!!!

Sooo many lush old church buildings dating back centuries. Never took quite enough photos to do justice for just how many I saw.

Leaving Belfast

Leaving the city of a thousand hills (as I call it)
